Bespoke ‘Room Design MOOD’ Board

A ‘Room Design Mood’ board offers a tailored approach to your interior project. Should you decide to commission me following our initial meeting, we then move on to discuss your stylistic goals, functional requirements and budget during a follow-up on-site briefing meeting. I take photographs, measurements and a note of any existing items to be retained. You receive written confirmation of the brief and fee, along with a deposit request (40%). Once agreed and on receipt, your Room Design Mood board will be assembled, ready for presentation on site within two to six weeks.

Each board comprises:

Computer generated layout/flow sketch with lighting plan (if applicable)
Freehand sketches of the designed space (wall elevations/decorative detailing)
Paint, wallpaper and fabric choice swatches
Other surface treatments (flooring, tiles, decorative panelling etc.) with samples/imagery where relevant
Varied finishes and ideas
Selected lighting, furniture, soft furnishings and accessories
Styling tips
Relevant prices for all featured product
A list of featured retailers

Balance of payment is due on receipt of the board. Subsequent adjustments/further research is charged at the hourly rate (see below).

A SIMPLIFIED ALTERNATIVE CONSISTING OF COLOUR/SCHEME/TEXTURE/FABRIC MOOD BOARD IS AVAILABLE AT £80 PER BOARD/ROOM. THIS PRICE IS REDUCED TO £40 PER BOARD FOR MORE THAN 3 ROOMS ON THE SAME PROJECT.

N.B. Samples (where costs incurred) and travel rates (outside a 25 mile radius) are the only additional charges.

*Kitchen unit colour, finish, style and flow layout can be specified. Exact costings and configuration of units to be carried out by or in conjunction with your specialist kitchen supplier.

Specifying/Implementation

The Room Design Mood boards allow you to envisage how the room design will look and flow. From here there are two options, I offer a very hands on service where I can project manage the design, installation and see your entire project through from start to finish. Alternatively, you can use the Room Design Mood boards created and implement your scheme with ease and at your leisure. However, I am more than happy to assist with product ordering, liaise with your seamstresses, designer-makers, tradesmen or suppliers, make further site visits or simply act as a sounding board – anything that helps realise the scheme exactly and as quickly and as smoothly as you wish. All such specifying is charged at the hourly rate. I am happy to provide estimates.

Payment for specified goods/decorating materials purchased on your behalf is required up front once quotes are confirmed. The corresponding paperwork will be forwarded to you.

Project Manager/Labour Day Rate - £200
